In this blog I report my discoveries and findings, while searching for the best and most practical, or, well, most attractive, beautiful software, that can help me and others to write that great thought, text, report, short story, thesis or book.

There are full blown word processors or simple text editors, journals, programs to help plotting or to order thoughts and tools like dictionaries, grammar checkers etc. But which one should I use?

I’d like to find the perfect aid for writing down any text.

About me

My second passion besides writing, in whatever form, is software (as an end user) and the web. I started blogging in 2006 on various blogs and immediately loved to combine these two passions this way.

I decided to start this blog in order to be able to look for, download and try a lot of programs and tools and to go hunt for any software that can help me or others to make writing anything on a computer even more attractive.

I have much to learn, but I know that there must be a whole lot out there that deserves attention. And what will the future bring?
